AHR Expo – Demonstrating the benefits of variable frequency drive control in refrigeration, pumping, and ventilation systems

Invertek Drives 2024 Ahr Social Media Post 4

Accurate motor and compressor control in HVAC-R systems creates a range of benefits from greater energy efficiencies, to less downtime and maintenance.

Invertek Drives Ltd, a leader in the design and manufacture of variable frequency drives (VFDs), will be highlighting the benefits of VFD technology in refrigeration and ventilation systems at AHR Expo in Chicago. The event takes place from January 22nd to 24th, 2024, at McCormick Place.

Accurate motor and compressor control creates a range of benefits from greater energy efficiencies, to less downtime and maintenance. Invertek Drives will be highlighting its Optidrive Coolvert and Optidrive Eco drives at the show.

Natural refrigerants such as R744 and R290

Coolvert is designed specifically to control the speed of high efficiency BLDC and PM compressors and allows OEMs to meet international and local legislation, such as F-Gas, Eco Design Directive and the Green Deal. It can be used with natural refrigerants such as R744 and R290.

Coolvert precisely controls the speed of BLDC and PM Rotary and Scroll compressors by matching the compressor speed to changing system demand. It helps lower energy consumption, improves system efficiency, reduces C02 emissions.

Key personnel from Invertek Drives USA will be on hand to discuss the systems and opportunities in a wide range of applications.

Peter Roberts, Invertek Drives USA National Sales Manager, said: “AHR is a key event for us, allowing us to highlight the wide range of benefits for OEMs as well as pumping, refrigeration and other companies working in the HVAC-R sectors. We can highlight our drives that can be used in various ventilation, pumping, refrigeration and other applications.

“The HVAC-R market holds great importance for us. However, the use of natural refrigerants in both existing and new systems is becoming increasingly necessary. It would be wise for companies to invest in systems that can work with these refrigerants instead of waiting to convert later on.”

Invertek Drives will be located at booth S8769 at AHR Expo.
