Invertek Drives to exhibit at global natural refrigerant technology exhibition

Invertek Drives is to exhibit at the world’s first global virtual natural refrigeration technology trade show next month.

NatRef Virtual Trade Show takes place over 24 hours between 1-2 September 2020 with delegates able to walk through virtual exhibition halls, meet exhibitors, attend panel discussions, network and host meetings, all from their PC.

Invertek Drives is one of 75 exhibitors from across the world that have signed up. Invertek will be promoting its new Optidrive Coolvert variable frequency drive (VFD) at the exhibition.

Coolvert is one of the smallest drives in its class, providing machine builders with opportunities to reduce panel space and lower machine costs. Designed to operate specifically with CO2 refrigerant condensing systems, it can provide end-users with energy savings of up to 25 per cent.“

In the current climate and with so much uncertainty about travelling, we’re looking forward to taking part in what will be the first global virtual trade exhibition of its kind for the natural refrigerant technology industry,” said Mike Carman, Head of Sales at Invertek Drives.

Meet the Invertek team

“Visitors will be able to meet our team at our stand online, discuss Coolvert and our other VFD technology. And because it is running for 24 hours, delegates will be able to attend at any time.”

Invertek announced the launch of Coolvert in July. Targeted at OEMs it has been designed for use in applications involving CO2 refrigerant systems to help meet the EU F-Gas (Fluorinated Greenhouse Gas) regulations, in addition to energy efficiency gains

It has the widest ambient operating range in its class of between -20c to +60c, making it ideal for use in a wide range of environments, including retailer chill and freeze refrigeration systems.

Coolvert is compatible with all motor types, including induction motors, permanent magnet motors, brushless DC motors, synchronous reluctance motors and Line Start PM motors ranging between 1.5kW to 11kW, 2HP to 15HP. It has single and three-phase input of 200V to 480V.

Virtual exhibition hall, panel discussions and meeting areas

According to NatRef Virtual Trade Show organisers, “it will feature easy-to-navigate online booths and webinars to present the latest knowledge and trends for environmentally friendly heating and cooling.”

For attendees, the Virtual Trade Show will differ from conference-call style panel discussions.

They will click through “a visually stimulating website, where they will be able to move through an expo hall, visit and chat with companies at their booths, join auditoriums for presentations, and network in a virtual lobby,” said Marc Chasserot, CEO of organisers shecco.
