Invertek Drives will be heading to the MCE (Mostra Convegno Expocomfort) 2026 exhibition later this month to show its latest variable frequency drives to the HVAC and Refrigeration industry.
The Invertek team will be introducing the brand-new general purpose VFD, Optidrive E4, for the first time in Italy on Stand 11, K19 at the Fiera Milano show from 24th-27th March. Optidrive E4 offers a range of features including dual-channel safe torque off (STO) certified to SIL3, USB-C and Bluetooth connectivity, industrial ethernet communications, embedded diagnostics, and a built-in flight recorder – all designed to offer additional capability which is easy to use.
Visitors will also be able to see dedicated products including Optidrive ECO HVAC – AC drives designed specifically for fan and pump control in building services applications, and the Optidrive Coolvert range developed to control BLDC (brushless direct current compressors), heat pumps and condensing units,
“This year’s MCE is a great opportunity for us to introduce the global HVAC-R industry to our latest product developments,” comments Invertek Sales and Marketing Director Rhydian Welson. “We recognised the need for very specific functionalities from the HVAC and Refrigeration industry a long time ago and we are continually innovating to develop dedicated products designed for HVAC-R applications, as well as general purpose drives for a broad range of motor control requirements.”
Features built-in to Optidrive Eco HVAC VFDs mean they are ideal for a wide range of building services applications including stairwell pressurisation systems, air handling, fume extraction, and chiller, circulation and cooling pump control.
The compact Optidrive Coolvert, available in three phase and single-phase supply, is designed to control a range of motor types including IE2 and IE3 induction motors, brushless DC motors and permanent magnet motors commonly found in refrigeration products.
“All of our products use the very latest technologies to deliver high-performance and energy efficiencies in a vast array of commercial and industrial operations,” continues Rhydian. “Our ethos has always been to offer customers the highest levels of performance in products which are easy to install, set-up, use and monitor. The Optidrive E4 has been developed on this basis and has been very well received so far - we are looking forward to seeing the reaction from the global HVAC-R industry.”
The popular Optidrive E3 VFD will also be on show for customers that need a robust and reliable general purpose drive and do not need the added capabilities of E4.
MCE is a global event for companies in the HVAC+R, renewable sources, energy efficiency and water sectors to showcase the latest technologies, solutions and systems for smart buildings in commercial, industrial and domestic residential sectors.
