Invertek Drives will be showcasing its dedicated variable frequency drives (VFDs) for the HVAC-R industry on stand 613 at ARBS 2026 in Melbourne, Australia, next month.
Held every two years in Sydney or Melbourne, ARBS bills itself as Australia’s largest HVAC-R and Building Services event. Tony Cox, Head of Invertek Drives at Sumitomo (SHI) Hansen Australia PTY Ltd, comments, “There is huge demand for advanced VFDs in HVAC, refrigeration and building services applications throughout the Australasian region. Energy efficiency, precise motor control and pump control are vital requirements in a massive variety of industrial operations.
“ARBS brings industry leaders together to see the newest innovations in this space, so offers an ideal opportunity for us to catch up with existing and potential customers to update them on our latest product and technology developments.
Invertek will be exhibiting dedicated VFDs including Optidrive ECO – AC drives designed specifically for fan and pump control in building services applications including stairwell pressurisation systems, air handling, fume extraction, and chiller, circulation and cooling pump control.
The compact Optidrive Coolvert range, developed to control BLDC (brushless direct current compressors), heat pumps and condensing units, will also be on show at ARBS. Designed to control a range of motor types including IE2 and IE3 induction motors, brushless DC motors and permanent magnet motors commonly found in refrigeration products, Optidrive Coolvert is available in three phase and single-phase supply.
Optidrive E3 general purpose drive will also be on show, with its renowned plug and play, ease of use - providing precise motor control and energy savings using the factory settings.
“Invertek offers a range of specialist drives for the HVAC-R industry that provide the very latest technologies in products which are easy to install, use and monitor,” continues Tony. “As a company which is constantly innovating, our customers know that our variable frequency drives offer a competitive edge to end users and OEMs alike, so come and see us at ARBS to discover the difference we can make for you.”
