Invertek’s sustainable credentials on show

Invertek Drives Ireland Ltd will be exhibiting on Stand A17 at The Energy Show taking place at RDS in Dublin on 10/11th April. The show is run by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) and will showcase leading suppliers of sustainable energy products and services from Ireland and Europe.

The Energy Show organisers are expecting over 200 companies to attend and are preparing to welcome more than 4000 trade visitors over the course of the two-day show.

Invertek Ireland’s Managing Director, Tommy Tighe, says, “Saving energy is one of the many benefits resulting from controlling electric motors using our variable speed drives. Reducing energy consumption remains at the top of Government agenda’s worldwide, leading to a significant increase in sales of all of our products.”  Invertek inverters are on the approved SEAI product list.

Invertek’s Optidrive variable speed drives can reduce energy consumption in industrial and HVAC applications by more than 50% by matching motor speeds to the exact requirements of each application by using closed loop control. Significant investment in the development of the high performance Optidrive P2 range over the past five years brings additional, future proof, energy saving benefits for Invertek’s global customers.

The easy to use Optidrive P2 range has been designed to control all standard AC asynchronous motors, which meet IEC requirements up to IE3 efficiency.  They also are designed to control AC permanent magnet and AC synchronous reluctance motors which are the latest generation of high efficiency motors designed to meet future IE4 requirements.

Invertek’s online energy savings calculator enables customers to estimate the potential energy, CO2 and financial savings when an Optidrive is used to control a motor speed, and therefore the output of a centrifugal fan or pump.

Tommy continues, “Variable speed drives may not be the first thing that springs to mind when thinking about saving energy, but our products have enormous potential to drastically reduce energy consumption in a wide range of industrial applications. We’re looking forward to discussing the Optidrives’ capabilities with industry professionals at The Energy Show.”
