Invertek Drives will be exhibiting at AHR Expo in Las Vegas, USA (2-4 February, Stand SL2316), showcasing its latest variable frequency drive technologies.

Invertek will be highlight how its Optidrive VFD portfolio supports more efficient, reliable and flexible HVAC and refrigeration systems, with solutions designed for compressors, pumps, fans and ventilation equipment used across commercial and industrial applications.

Speaking ahead of the show, Wayne Morris, VP of Invertek Drives USA, said: “AHR Expo is an important event for us because it puts us directly in front of OEMs, system integrators and engineers who are actively looking to improve system efficiency and performance. Our VFD technology is designed to give customers practical, real world benefits, not just theoretical energy savings.”

A key focus on the stand will be Optidrive Coolvert, Invertek’s dedicated drive for refrigeration and heat pump applications. Coolvert is engineered for the control of BLDC and permanent magnet compressors commonly used in modern refrigeration systems, delivering precise speed control, high efficiency and compact integration.

Mike Carman, Executive Business Development Manager, HVAC-R at Invertek, said: “Coolvert has been developed specifically for the needs of today’s refrigeration, condensing units, chillers, and heat pumps. It gives manufacturers and system designers a compact, efficient solution that supports natural refrigerants such as CO₂ and propane, as well as A2L and A3, while maintaining the control and reliability the market expects.”

Variable frequency drives are playing an increasingly important role in HVAC-R and refrigeration. By matching motor speed to actual system demand, VFDs help reduce energy consumption, improve temperature stability and reduce wear on mechanical components.

“Moving away from fixed speed operation is one of the most effective ways to improve system efficiency,” said Wayne. “With a VFD, you gain better control, lower operating costs and longer equipment life. That’s exactly what we’re seeing customers focus on in North America right now.”

Visitors to Stand 847 will have the opportunity to speak directly with Invertek Drives’ technical team about real world applications across commercial refrigeration, cold storage, industrial cooling, heat pumps and HVAC systems. The team will also be available to discuss new designs, system upgrades and retrofit opportunities.

“AHR Expo gives us a great opportunity to have detailed technical conversations,” Wayne said. “We’re looking forward to meeting customers on the stand and discussing how Invertek Drives can support their next projects.”
