Invertek Drives to showcase Optidrive Elevator Core at Stand E11

Invertek Drives will highlight the importance of accurate and safe elevator control at Lift Expo Italia in Milan on 4, 5, and 6 December 2024.

The company will showcase its new Optidrive Elevator Core variable frequency drive (VFD) at Stand E11. This innovative product, launched last year at Interlift 2023, is designed to redefine elevator motor control with its unique features and benefits for elevator manufacturers, installers, and engineers.

Optidrive Elevator Core offers unprecedented size and functionality in a compact design packed with advanced features for optimal performance and control. It ensures easy installation and commissioning with streamlined processes for quick setup and reduced downtime. One of its most unique features is the USB-C connectivity, allowing configuration and power-up directly from a mobile phone or tablet for ultimate convenience.

The interface is user-friendly and allows for smooth control

An in-built data recorder allows access to critical data without mains power, simplifying maintenance and troubleshooting. The drive also includes a universal encoder module, ensuring future-proofed compatibility with all encoders and eliminating the need for additional components. With 10kHz full current operation at 50°C, it provides silent motor operation and a compact size for enhanced efficiency. The internal EMC filter reduces electromagnetic interference for reliable operation.

Optidrive Elevator Core's key features include USB-C connectivity for in-the-box setup and power-up from a mobile phone (*Android devices) without mains power, enabling rapid data sharing and analytics. The universal encoder module works with all encoders, is future-proofed for upcoming releases, and utilizes a digital-only encoder for reduced noise and torque ripple. With 10kHz full current operation at 50°C, the drive offers silent motor operation, a compact size, and requires no de-rating. The internal EMC filter eliminates the need for an external filter.
