Invertek’s variable frequency drives on show at AQUA Netherlands

Alt text not availableInvertek’s sales partner in the Netherlands, Hiflex Automatiseringstechniek BV, is exhibiting at the AQUA Netherlands trade fair being held from March 21-23 at the Events Hall in Gorinchem.

Hiflex will be on Stand 304 at Holland’s most successful water trade event and will be displaying the latest developments in the field of optimal pump control and the energy savings available through the use of variable frequency drives.

The 2017 event, which has been extended after the success of 2016 when 10,000 industry professionals attended, will feature the latest innovations and products in the field of water treatment, management and technology.

John van der Lugt, Sales Manager at Hiflex, says: “This event showcases products used in the water treatment sector, including pumping stations and treatment plants and I am delighted we are attending and will be displaying Invertek’s Optidrive range.

“The Optidrive Eco provides a perfect solution for pump control by offering technology that allows simple operation of multiple pump sets without the need for a PLC.

“Pump blockage detection and cleaning also dramatically reduces pump maintenance requirements and a built-in PLC function allows bespoke customised applications to be programmed directly in the drive.

“The variable frequency drives also have pump operating curve detection that automatically monitor normal behaviour and react when pumping conditions change.

“All of these benefits reduce pump downtime, leading to greater efficiency, and the Optidrives also optimise energy consumption by intelligently matching usage to the pump load to ensure pumps operate at maximum efficiency.

“With all industries under pressure to reduce their carbon emissions to meet stringent EU targets, I’m sure Invertek’s range will prove popular, especially as they can cut energy usage by up to 60%.

“In-built meters allow energy consumption to be clearly displayed and savings calculated while installation costs are often paid back in less than six months which makes the drives an excellent investment for anyone working in the pump control sector,” he added.

AQUA Netherlands runs from Tuesday, March 21 until Thursday, March 23 from noon to 8pm. You can register to attend here and find out more about the event.
