Invertek Drives will exhibit at Latin America’s largest fishing and aquaculture industry exhibition and conference.

Expo Pesca & Acuipera 2019 takes place in Lima, Peru, between 6 and 8 November at Centro de Exposiciones Jockey.

Invertek will join its regional sales partner Dasha TECNICA at stand 609 to demonstrate the benefits of variable frequency drive (VFD) technology in the marine, fishing and aquaculture industries.

The use of VFDs in on and offshore applications, such as marine winching, conveyors, water pumping and vessel bow thrusters, can lead to greater control, energy efficiencies and less downtime in maintenance.

“Fisheries and aquaculture use high energy motors in a range of applications. VFD technology, such as Invertek’s Eco and P2, can provide significant benefits and savings which is crucial in such a competitive market,” said Marcus Silver, Invertek’s Country Manager for Latin America.

The Optidrive Eco and heavy-duty P2 are available in IP55 and IP66 / NEMA 4X enclosures, making them perfect for harsh environments.
